Winter vegetables with our soft beef cheek
- Karl CI really enjoyed the black sesame ramen at white chaco. The toppings were very tasty and high quality (much better than in Kyushu, Honshu and Hokkaido in general). The broth was very innovative and I enjoyed the addition of the black sesame. The noodles were too soft for me, they were OK as I started, however, was soft about half way through. The strength of the broth and toppings is enough for me to overlook the soft noodles - next time I will ask for firm noodles.
- Mi CDelicate and suuper delicious food. Simple, low key and modern deco. We had the black ramen, grilled eel, pop corn chicken and soup dumplings. There’s obviously a lot of thoughts that goes into the whole process from getting the best ingredients, to turning them into really sophisticated dishes (that doesn’t break a bank!) Highly recommended and we’ll definitely be back! Thanks Chef and the friendly staff :)
- Taylor JVery authentic quality ramen. We had the Chaco Pork Ramen, the salmon sashimi and wasabi king prawn bao buns and greatly enjoyed all of them. Well constructed dishes at acceptable prices for an upscale restaurant in the city. The staff were very friendly and apologetic for any delays to seating. It can get a bit draughty in the small room as the front door is easily left open but customers coming in and out.
